Role Purpose
The role is to be an essential part of our operating solution to provide outstanding customer service to our rental clients by preparing, de-prepping, maintaining, and assisting with daily operations.
Reports To: Operations Leader
Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning and maintaining our rental stock in excellent condition ready for rentals (training to be provided).

Test, service, and fault find rental stock (training will be provided).

Picking and preparation of equipment ready for rental.

Assist in the movement and logistics around the warehouse.

Be an ambassador of the CEG brand by communicating well with couriers and delivery/collection drivers arriving at CEG to collect or return equipment.

Checking equipment in and out of our stock control system, this will include Inventory checking.

Support warehouse admin and operational duties.

Requirements:
-
Practical interest in electronics and systems (desirable).

Strong communication skills.
-
Being physically fit is important as you may be expected to frequently handle products weighing up to 25kg by yourself.

Ability to work within a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines. As we support the events industry, we typically have busier periods and quieter periods, and you must be able to adapt to this.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn internal management systems.

Strong computer skills.

A clean and current full driving licence (for at least 25 months) with some commercial vehicle driving experience that includes the ability to drive 3.5T vehicles.

A counterbalance forklift licence is preferable but not essential (training can be provided).
-
To be trained in and be competent at loading and unloading vehicles.
-
Willing to live within 30miles of CB22 3HB or willing to relocate.
Hours: 8.30-5.30, Monday to Friday.
Onsite work is flexible with weekends, evening and overnights possible.
Location: Unit 6a, Solopark Trading Estate, Station Road, Pampisford, Cambridge, CB22 3HB.
Salary range: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum
Terms: This is a permanent full-time post, subject to references, interview, and practical assessment.
The offer is subject to a probation period of 6 months. This is a full-time post with some evening and weekend work required, for which you will be compensated.
Holiday entitlement for full-time employees is 20 days per annum plus bank holidays.
